I have nothing……………
I want to TRUST that he will pull this off, but God help me, he is destroying me with each new detail.

Nas recently revealed some details about his controversial upcoming album, Nigger, to MTV News, including some equally eye catching song titles.

“I have a song called ‘The Fear,’ ” he said. “The full title of the record is ‘The Fear of the Black Man’s D—.’ That’s some sh– you can get comedy [from], or you can get some seriousness from it when you talk about the barbaric castrations that happened in our past — which is very serious, nothing to laugh at.”

But the MC also clarified that he is not attacking any particular race, but rather trying to address a number of racial slurs that are often used against a variety of ethnicities.

“It’s about the attacks that have happened to blacks, whites, all ethnicities,” he continued. ” ‘Mick’ niggers, ‘guinea’ niggers, ‘kike’ niggers. I have a song called ‘You a Nigger Too.’ “

*smdh* How can anybody else be a “n*gger” when WE aren’t “n*ggers” to begin with????

Rapper Nas confirmed his next album will be called “N*gga.”

According to MTV News, during a performance at New York’s Roseland Ballroom on October 12, Nas told concertgoers that his new album will be called Nigga and will be released in December. While details surrounding the LP are still sketchy, MTV confirmed the project’s name and producer Jermaine Dupri has expressed interest in contributing to the album. In addition, Nas will release his Greatest Hits LP in November and will shoot a video for one of the album’s new songs, “Surviving the Times.”

I trust Nas because he’s on another level but he better not f*ck this up. Just because the masses were too stupid to “get,” and I mean mentally and physically, “Hip Hop Is Dead” last year, doesn’t mean that he should dumb down his formula. They just need to smarten up.

If he does work with Jermaine Dupri though, he might as well call it a wrap though.

Ah low expectations! See it’s evident that these bogus rappers these days expect most rap consumers to be dumb, deaf and just plain ignorant. That’s how they make money. Sh-t if they felt that cats expected INTELLIGENT, WELL-WRITTEN LYRICS there would be no Yung Joc, Jeezy, J-Kwon, Souljah Boy, Hurricane Chris, 50 Cent would have to step his game up (WHY DO YOU THINK it took him so LONG to get a record deal????), Rasheeda, all these mediocre rappers…..

So it’s no surprise that he went at Nas (who will destroy that dude lyrically if he wants to) for calling dumb rappers out.

……Fif takes some unexpected shots at God’s Son in an interview with the LA Times. “Hip-Hop ain’t dead. That’s just coming from an artist that’s dead.” Fifty said in response to Nas’ hip-hop is dead mantra. “Hip-Hop being what it was in his era - the 2Pac/Nas/Biggie/Jay-Z era - is dead. Right now [fans] don’t want to hear that nonsense.” 50 then went on to say, “Those guys that flood their music with too much intellectual information don’t sell. You could be so creative that you just got a smock and a French accent!”

LOL! Look at this guy. Maybe if he would’ve tried more “intellectual” lyrics, his album MIGHT have stood a chance against Kanye.

This guy doesn’t want cats to smarten up. IF they did, he’d be broke AGAIN.

Classic! Check out “Phone Tap” by The Firm. This song was the joint even though the group, which included Foxy Brown, Nature, Nas, and AZ, was panned by hip-hop critics. The album was also panned and they disbanded right after this album. But it’s funny now because listening to the album, you realize just how talented they were as a collective and how good the CD itself is. Dr. Dre produced their album and boy do I miss them. Looking back at the sh*t we listening to now, we may look back fondly on a SINGLE but I’d wager none of us are going to go and reexamine Huey’s album “Notebook Paper” or Shop Boyz’ “Rockstar Mentality” ten years from now.

We know what happened to Nas (his last album is awesome! GET IT!), and Foxy Brown is acting the ass. I just want to know what happened to Nature and AZ? Where the hell is Dr. Dre???

The NY Daily News reported that Nas was spotted going to Teddy’s in Hollywood solo. Kelis was nowhere to be spotted. Why am I not surprised? I figured this relationship was an ill-ass pairing from jump. And if the rumors are true about her being sexually insatiable and promiscuous to the point of threesomes and bisexual trysts with Nas looking on, the clock is damned sure ticking on this couple. Adventurous or not, your relationship is a wrap when you need to call in the “artillery” to help you out.
