This is a little late, but I had to comment on Jaslene winning America’s Next Top Model last night. Could the judges not find anything redeeming about the other two? This by far is the worst pick they’ve had in the history of the show and I don’t foresee here going very far at all. But then again winning ANTM isn’t much of a prize considering it really means nothing in the long run. Let’s face it Jaslene looks like she just successfully completed a stint at Auschwitz. For weeks and months Tyra went off about weight but she picks a girl who is so skinny she looks deformed and macabre; even ghoulish. I was rooting for Natasha myself. Oh well…*shrugs* it’s just ANTM.

Looks like aside from sweltering heat, being away from their families and not knowing if they’ll live to see tomorrow….soldiers will be happy to find out that they will no longer be able to try to lead semblance of a NORMAL life access YouTube, Myspace and iFilm. They would be able to access it on their own PCs (how’s the connection out there anyway?) but most troops do not have their own personal PCs so this is a huge blow to their morale.

“This is as much an information war as it is bombs and bullets,” he said. “And they are muzzling their best voices.”

The sites covered by the ban are the video-sharing sites YouTube, Metacafe, IFilm, StupidVideos and FileCabi; social networking sites MySpace, BlackPlanet and Hi5; music sites Pandora, MTV, 1.fm and live365; and the photo-sharing site Photobucket.

I could understand if they had a normal life like mine where I can see my family by jumping in my car and driving off, but they can’t. I guess they could just pick up knitting, haberdashery and bridge then. Who needs talking to your family anyway?!?!?! And while at it…who really needs MORALE??? Damn that. That’s for the birds! *End Sarcasm*
