I guess they really aren’t playing anymore huh? South Side Chicago’s Saint Sabina church has launched a full on attack against rap and rappers who demean women. They’ve put up twenty billboards, like the one pictured above, denouncing rappers they find misogynistic and negative. I just have one question. Not to be trite or anything, I mean I applaud their taking a stand and all but ummmm….where did the money come from for all these billboards?????? It better not be collection plate money!

Pastor of St. Sabina Church, the Rev. Michael Pfleger, said in the release, “If we are going to end the violence and disrespect of women, we must fight every form of negativity, including the music industry.”

“When you disrespect women and you continue to demean a community or race by names and by language, that’s unacceptable,” he told NBC5’s Alex Perez. “We can kill with our words.”

Mixed opinions were expected from the public as well as from the artists themselves, but Chicago rapper Shala Esquire — of the popular group Qualo — told NBC5 he thinks the billboards seem like a good idea.

“I think the billboards are a bold step in a world that has been pretty cowardly lately. Hopefully it brings balance back to hip-hop so folks can move on to b–chin’ about something else,” he said. “I’m not going to say that we don’t use certain words to depict the reality of life, but it’s becoming kind of crazy and it’s getting out of control. Don’t fix the music, fix what causes the music.”

Oooh….I love when people fight dirty! I mean…it’s a blow but they aren’t LYING! Rappers are going to be pissed but oh well…..

See this is what happens when some cats decide to “make it rain.” I’d like to thank Yung Joc, Atlanta, hell the whole damned South for this “contribution.” Cheers! Anyway, NFL player Adam “Pacman” Jones is facing two felony charges for a melee of near tragic proportions during “All-Star Weekend” in Las Vegas this past February. Basically he “made it rain” or showered the strip club with thousands of dollars. Naturally, all hell broke loose and someone almost got killed.

Suspended NFL player Adam “Pacman” Jones will face two felony charges in a strip club melee that preceded a triple shooting in February, Las Vegas police and the Clark County District Attorney’s office said Wednesday.
Two other people previously identified by police as friends of the troubled Tennessee Titans cornerback also will face felony charges in the fracas inside the Minxx club, police said in a statement.

No one is named in the shooting that occurred later outside the club and left a bar employee paralyzed, police Capt. James Dillon said.

Warrants were issued for the arrests of Jones, Robert Reid of Carson, Calif., and Sadia Morrison of New York, Dillon said.

That weekend was ignorant and CHAOTIC.

See for days I tried to figure out WHY this man did this to himself and my retinas. This vision was like stabbing myself with a rusty screwdriver…..Ka-BLOOOOOOW! But let me keep it moving…..I would like to know WHY he made this decision. Perhaps a colorblind friend? I am losing the little bit of patience skanky ass Megan Fox inside of me. But these photo calls have been everything from SLUTTY (Yes…Megan Fox…SLUTTY) to just downright asinine. Can anyone tell me WHY they have those cats in the camouflage outfits??? What purpose do they serve? Is this movie a cheap porno or is it about some damned robots? Couldn’t they afford to put some poor Spanish man in some foil and call him Tinfoilus Prime? THESE QUESTIONS NEED ANSWERS! I see Shia “Sexy Beef” LeBeouf is looking nice (y’all do know his name means beef in French. Yeah! You’re welcome!) . I’d smash.

I look at this video and one lone tear falls from my icy eyes, but as I go to wipe it I realize that it’s only salad dressing from lunch. Enjoy this blast from the past. Their Myspace page hasn’t had any new developments in the last two years and the members have definitely changed. They do have a single called “Keep On Pushin’” that was available on iTunes as of May 1st, with proceeds from the sale going to a noble cause.

If you like zombie movies you’ll probably like this one. “Black Sheep” is a horror-comedy movie that reminds me of “Snakes On A Plane” except it doesn’t take itself nearly as seriously. Director Jonathan King recognizes this is a comedy. It’s like “28 Days Later” meets “Babe.” When genetic engineering goes wrong, one man’s fear of sheep will go from nightmares to reality. Unfortunately this movie is currently slated for release in New York on June 22nd, so you guys may have seen it but I live in Seattle so I haven’t seen any trailers for it yet. If they’re smart they will secure wider distribution. So this clip is more for my people not living on the East Coast.

“I ____(insert act of bad-ness here)____. (In order to sell us on her warped sense of badness she will then follow up next) _______(Insert obligatory “that’s what bad girls do”)_______.” And there you have it! I bet if I pinched her she wouldn’t pinch back.

If any of you remember the 1998 remake of Godzilla you just may remember Diddy’s song “Come With Me.” It’s a cover a poor excuse for one at that of Led Zeppelin’s classic “Kashmir.” While it may have been popular at the time, it’s reputation for being one of the worst covers FINALLY caught up to it. Let’s not front, Diddy couldn’t even rap “Old Yeller” right if his life depended on it. He should never rap again. Maybe it’s because he has a mouth like a trout? According to the NY Post:

I will say for all the song’s huge sucking power, it introduced me to “Kashmir.” I am the biggest Led Zeppelin fan in the world. So I appreciate that song. As for the others, why am I not surprised? The Pussycat Dolls need to remember that they have the word “pussy” in their name. Don’t try to reach the sun girls, you sell pussy, tits and ass. There are NO words for Kelly Osbourne. She knows she was dead ass wrong.

Some blogs will die over this girl but I’m not really impressed. I’m only posting the video because hell it’s a blog. Sometimes you have to follow the current.
